Raw eggs are loaded with protein and other healthy vitamin (like vitamin A, D & E). So they are considered one of the best remedies for treating hair-related troubles such as dandruff, hair breakage, weak hair follicles and extra dry and damaged hair etc.

The protein present in raw eggs helps in strengthening the hair follicles, while vitamin A maintains the sebum production that is essential to prevent dandruff and dry hair. Egg-yolk based hair packs are a blessing for the girls who have thin hair because egg yolk works excellently to add extra volume and natural sheen to hair. Let us have a look at various natural egg packs for different types of hair.

For Dry Hair

Take one or two eggs depending on the length of your hair and beat up them properly. Now place half cup of milk or yogurt in a medium-sized bowl and mix the beaten egg in it. Then add one tablespoon of lemon juice and same quantity of olive or coconut oil in the prepared blend. Mix all constituents once again and then apply it to your hair and scalp thoroughly. Cover your head with a towel dipped in hot water. Leave it for about 30-40 minutes before rinsing off.

For Frizzy Hair

Prepare a mixture of raw eggs, honey and yogurt in a bowl. Spread it on your hair and scalp thoroughly for about half hour and then rinse out. This is effective hair pack for frizzy hair. Another treatment for frizzy hair involves applying the combination of egg yolk, honey, 2-3 drops of rosemary oil, 3-4 drops of sandalwood oil and warm water for sometime.

For Oily Scalp

For making a great egg hair pack for oily scalp, take the whites of at least two eggs and mix them with five tablespoons Fuller’s earth, one or two wet mint leaves, two tablespoons of honey and three tablespoons of lemon juice. Apply this mixture on your hair appropriately and leave for at least 30-40 minutes. Then wash it off using a mild shampoo.
