Baking Soda and Apple Cider Vinegar
You can use baking soda as the substitute of your regular shampoo. Mix 1 tbsp. baking soda and 1 cup water together. Use the mixture in the same way as you use the standard shampoo.
The amount of baking soda you use to prepare the homemade shampoo depends a lot on your hair type. You can also use apple cider vinegar to rinse your hair. Moreover, vinegar can be effectively used as a conditioner as well.
Egg is a natural ingredient that is used in various hair care products because of its countless benefits for the hair. It can be effectively used as a shampoo. For using egg yolk as shampoo, mix one or two egg yolks, conditional on the length of your tresses with a little shampoo. Damp your locks and apply the egg yolk-shampoo mixture to them. Wash your hair meticulously with tepid water and condition it as usual.
Yogurt holds lactic acid, which plays role in strengthening and smoothing up your hair. Plain yogurt (without adding sugar) mask can do wonders to your hair. Whisk plain yogurt in a container and put it on to you scalp and the entire length of your locks.
Allow the yogurt to sit on your scalp and hair for 30 minutes, and then rinse off with lukewarm water. Give shampoo bath to your hair using a mild shampoo. To get extra shiny hair you can use mixture of yogurt and sweet almond oil.
